It’s easy to cast self-doubt upon yourself, especially if you’ve recently experienced a setback in your life. Maybe you lost your job, broke up with your partner, or received a rejection letter about a project you were working on. Unfortunately, many individuals begin to think “I am a failure.” This can easily become a self-fulfilling prophecy, but so can thinking, “I am a success.”
It’s much more valuable and useful to think positively about yourself and your life instead of worrying about your shortcomings. Everyone has their faults and no one knows them quite as well as you, but instead of focusing on the negative aspects of your life, it’s important that you seek positive self-affirmation.
